update on action research plan

I have been putting together my surveys for my teachers.  I should be getting them out to all teachers next week.  The survey will ask the teachers certain questions about the new TILT program.  One question  that I have asked is what are some enrichment activities that your higher level students are doing during the TILT program. I can't wait to get these done and out to my teachers and to read the response of each one.

Goal: To show growth of low level students that are in the TILT program.  That teachers understand the meaning of enrichment for the higher level students during TILT.  To help teachers make good use of  the 50 minutes of TILT each day .

Action research is research that is done by me.  It is a practical way of looking at your work to check and see that it is as I want it to be.  It allows me to think about and reflect on ideas and my ideas.  I can reflect by asking questions,analyze data, and make changes based on my findings.  Then share this information and findings with other colleagues.  Action research is in the beginning you start with an idea not a main hypothesis. Then that idea is the action research which is a way of self evacuation.

I feel that blogging can be wonderful way to communicate with parents,teachers,  and stakeholders.  It would give access to up coming events in the school as well as information , also could be used for emergency  information at the school and directions on how to follow up on the emergency situation. Blogging is a great way of communication because parents can follow the blogspot daily to check to see daily or weekly lunch menus.  Blogging is a tool to take our schools closer into the future.
